Swirling, shifting sand creates some beautiful beach textures. Not only was the light gorgeous at Rockaway Beach at sunset, the appearance of the flowing water in the natural light created some beautiful beach textures. With sand and water coming together, nature provides an ever-changing landscape whether it’s up close or from a distance. I watched as the water created formations in the sand, then shifted those formations with it’s flow. Always moving and changing. Each was just as pretty and serene as the previous one. Nature is such a great entertainer!
“In every outthrust headland, in every curving beach, in every grain of sand there is the story of the earth.”
~ Rachel Carson
“Let my toes teach the shore
how to feel a tranquil life
through the wetness of sands
Let my heart latch the door
of blackness, as all my pain
now blue sky understands”
― Munia Khan
