Cemetery on the Coast | Sacramento Fine Art Photographer

Toward the top of the rolling hills near the coast, my friend and I discovered yet another cemetery that had been part of the community for a very long time.  While the sun was shining maybe a bit too strongly and the breeze was blowing just perfectly, I felt such peace in this lovely location.  The headstones in the cemetery were modest although there was plenty of evidence of love and remembrance.   Many of the headstones were handmade/carved; some were painted, some were not.  I don't usually convert my images, but this set seemed to tell the story best in black and white.

It was a photographer’s trip/workshop with a knowledgeable photographer leading the workshop who offered suggestions for photographing Glacier Bay National Park and in-depth editing techniques.
