Tomorrow begins the final display of 2017 for Viewpoint Photographic Art Center. The juried show is entitled Twelve: Balance. So, I’m very pleased to say that I have two images that will be displayed in the show. My second juried show!!!
The Dandelion Dancers image was one I captured a couple of years ago. It has been a favorite of mine (and a few others) since that time. I intended to shoot the seed in the air, but as they landed I was thrilled to see them balanced. I didn’t hesitate to click away. In about eight seconds the breeze blew them away.
To the Sea was made this year in June while photographing at the Oregon coast, Ecola State Park. As the sun set, the water flowing to the sea took on a lovely, blue and gold sheen.
I hope you’ll make a point of visiting the Viewpoint Photographic Art Center, 2015 J Street, Sacramento this month.
