365 photography project February 2020 - Jumping back in to the crazy world of daily shooting!

So, here we are. February 2020 has come and gone! And, I can confidently say I only had to fudge twice. I knew basically what I wanted to shoot, but for one reason or another, I had to postpone a day. No big deal. My 365 photography project February 2020  continued strong throughout the month.Photography projects have a way of motivating you/me and increasing skills. That's what I'm looking for. A project like a 365 will result in some mediocre images, but I'm okay with that. Because there will be some gems in among them.

Daily Shooting

February started with a flat-lay project initiated by Stephanie of Life Created. This project became the Click Pro challenge for the month. Flat-lays are still life images taken from a bird's eye view, or top-down. There was a prompt for each weekday, so you'll be seeing lots of flat-lay in this grid for February.I made a trip to Point Reyes to test out my new 6-stop filter and finalize plans for my still life photography workshop. Yosemite was on my agenda as well. I had made reservations far in advance to photograph the ever-popular Firefall which did not happen this year. There must be water to create Horsetail Falls, and we haven't had much of that again in California. Most of the other images happened closer to home. I spent the last morning of the month at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife area looking for birds to photograph. I commend wildlife photographers. It is not easy! Here's a summary of what February looked like for this photographer.
