Blending Two Images in Photoshop
If you are a photographer, you've no doubt come up against the difficulty of getting a high dynamic range image well exposed without digital noise and without blowing the highlights. Often we use exposure blending two or more images to achieve desired results.
Blending Two Images Begins in the Field
This process begins in the field where you are photographing. The technique of bracketing or manually shooting two or more exposures, individual images exposed properly for the highlights and shadows, is where to start. My example uses two images of correctly exposed highlights in one and correctly exposed shadows in the other. You can certainly use more than that if the situation warrants it. It's not as complicated as it sounds, but it certainly does take patience! Blending Two Images in PS
