Burney Falls State Park | northern California Fine Art Photography
Last summer I had the opportunity to photograph the falls at Burney Falls State Park on a cool, foggy, misty morning. This was one day when the flat, even, overcast light was welcomed as it allowed us to shoot from many different angles without the glare of the sun to contend with. As you can see, the falls sit in a bit of a bowl. Although there is a river that creates the main waterfalls, there are springs emerging from the wall of rock that ooze water as well creating a most engaging lace-like pattern.And look at the color of that water! No need to enhance or touch it up at all. It's just that gorgeous!
