Cedar Creek Grist Mill | northern California landscape photographer

To kick off our photography excursion a couple of months ago (where did the time go?), we headed out to Cedar Creek Grist Mill in southern Washington for some lovely landscape photography. Fall color, a little fog, a grist mill AND a covered bridge? Somebody pinch me! And, with all those elements, I even got to shoot with some of my favorite photography friends. It doesn't get much better than that!

I never wanted to be run of the mill."

~ Barbara Jordan

Something that is run-of-the-mill is a common, everyday, ordinary item that does not stand out from the rest. Something or someone that is "run-of-the-mill" is probably not notable.

We had a soft covering of fog that gave a cozy feel to the scene. In these images I had to desaturate the color (yellow and oranges) quite a bit, yet it is still very deep.
