Exploring Vermont

Exploring parts of New England with my friends as guides, was fun, educational, interesting, busy, tasty, and so very memorable. Exploring Vermont began with a drive through the beautiful countryside, taking time to stop for photographs and to explore the area. We passed huge  barns, covered bridges, old cemeteries, flourishing gardens, quaint towns, green fields, cute shops, and arrived at the Simon Pearce restaurant for lunch. The restaurant is perched out over the river with the covered bridge in view. Downstairs there is a glasswork area where their items are made and sold in the gift shop and on-line. There is a viewing area in which to observe the glass-blowers at work. Every direction I looked, there was something of interest to see. After lunch we continued our journey observing more New England scenes stopping in little towns to window shop, and then making our way back to their home. Here are a few images from this day's outing.
