Nature Walk Treasures | northern California photographer

While taking a nature walk around our property with my camera the other day, I collected a few bits and pieces of nature. I decided to make a flat lay image from them. It seemed like a base of linen would fit the natural theme of the image. Almond blossoms, pecans and a walnut shell, oak leaves, mushroom, dried oregano, and a leftover walnut husk along with a couple of tiny feathers make my subject. I had hoped to find a large owl feather to include as we've heard the 'Hoot' owls a lot lately. Maybe next time.

"There is pleasure in the pathless woods, there is rapture in the lonely shore, there is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar; I love not Man the less, but Nature more."

~ Lord Byron
