Perspective Week 3 | 2017 {northern California photographer}

My Perspective Week 3 includes still life and documentation of a few things that appealed to me this week. The upper left image is of a scene I came upon while doing a little exploring in the fog. I consider this a 'found' still life. I photographed inside a lot this week due to the windy, rainy weather. So, I pulled out some china cups and they became my subject for a couple of days.  Day one - LOOK at that gorgeous, buttery light that squeaked through just before sunset! The following day, I tried stacking them and photographed from different angles. What says lemon better than lemon squares?  I had to give most of them away for fear I would eat far too many of them.  Well, let's be real here, I'd eat all of them. And, again, (bottom right) here's another image of nature in all her beauty, flood water and all.

“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.”Eleanor Roosevelt
