There seems to be a season for many things. If you live in the Sacramento area, you know that portrait season has begun and is in full swing. Now is the perfect time for outdoor portraits especially if you want to include nature in your photos. We are fortunate to have so many lovely parks, rivers, as well as urban locations right here in northern California that are perfect settings for portraits.
Portrait Season
High school senior pictures, family portraits, headshots, couples, teens - the list goes on. One of my favorite genres is Mom (or Dad) & Me. It's just what the name implies, Mom (or Dad) with her/his kids. Whether they are small or grown, wouldn't you enjoy a portrait session of your kids (or your grandkids) and you together? What a treasured keepsake for you and for them.
Reasons NOT to
I know many of you are thinking, "I don't want MY picture taken!" So many excuses. I need to lose a few pounds. My hair doesn't look good. I don't have anything suitable to wear. I never look good in pictures. The reasons (excuses) go on and on. STOP IT! You will treasure this gift to yourself and your children in the years to come. Do you think they care about all those things? Of course, not. They love you just the way you are. So let's document it and give them a keepsake!
