Flower Photography | still life photographer

Photographing flowers can be a bit of a mystery if you are used to shooting other genres of photography. There are tips and tricks that help each genre, and flower photography is no different.  I was invited to share a few tips and images over on the Creative Inspiration Community blog site. Be sure to check it out and then take a few flower images of your own. I'd love to know if you use any of my tips for your flower photography. Please share if you do!If you are a REAL flower fan and have a love of heirlooms, be sure to grab Chris McLaughlin's book "Growing Heirloom Flowers". You will see lots more of my flower images there. Here are a few images that didn't make it in to the Creative Inspiration Community post, but are good examples of the sort of flower photography that I love.
