Traveling Burnside

Are you looking for a way to increase the creativity in your photographs? Many of us are. So when Lensbaby announced their Traveling Burnside project, I immediately applied to participate. The program allows photographers free use of the lens for two weeks. Then it is shipped off to the next participant.

Lensbaby Lenses

Several years ago, I purchased my first lensbaby, the Sweet 35. It had quite a learning curve for me as achieving the lensbaby bokeh and focus were a little challenging until I got used to tilting the lens just right.Shortly thereafter, I was gifted the Edge 80. With its slice of focus, it's very different from the Sweet 35. Again, a little bit of a learning curve to achieve nice results. Each has its own different use.

Traveling Burnside

Enter the Traveling Burnside lens.  I have found this lens to be super easy to use! As soon as I put it on my camera and took a couple of shots, I knew how to manage it. So far, I have found that I like using it for flowers that have a busy background. The resulting images sort of make me feel like I'm traveling down the rabbit hole along with Alice. There is almost a tunnel affect.I thought I'd show you examples of images I've taken with each lens. I'd love to hear your thoughts about the results.
