Tulips Galore | Don’t Mind the Mud
As I approached the fields upon fields of tulips, I was completely amazed. The landscape full of tulips seemed to go on forever; as far as I could see. Clearly these tulip fields had been well planned and certainly well cared for. But, the surprising thing to me was that they didn't appear to be commercial production. They appeared to be for the sole enjoyment of those who were fortunate enough to visit. Me being one of those lucky people!
Exploring Redwood National Park | fine art photography landscape
Late May and early June are the months in which the rhododendrons bloom in the Redwood National Park in northern California. So, a few years ago we planned accordingly and made our way there in early June.
Amazing Magical Morning
OK, so it wasn't exactly a magical morning. It was actually a perfectly average late autumn morning. But, as I often do, I went out walking with my camera. I live in a rural area and the route of my morning walks is pretty much the same each day with a little variation now and then. I walk along the rows of trees in our walnut orchard to the back of our property where there is a slough and lots of vegetation - trees, berry vines, poison oak, and weeds.
Changing Seasons in Ashland
A few years ago in my pursuit of fall colored leaves, I passed through Ashland, OR. Fortunately, I decided to stop and spend the night there. And, I'm so glad I did! The fall color change was in full swing in Ashland, and especially in Lithia Park.
