Autumn Color in Colorado

Several years ago I spent time traveling America's Loneliest Highway to experience autumn color in Colorado. I just have to share some of these incredible views with you! I took a very long road trip to Colorado to see and shoot the fall color in October. It happened to be during the wild fires there, so the haze that you see is smoke. Sometimes it enhanced the colors, but at other times it dulled them.

On the drive there, I stopped at three national parks. If you have followed my work for long, then you know how much I appreciate our national parks. You can see those images in these posts: Great Sand Dunes National Park, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park Great Basin National Park
