California Coast ~ Big Sur landscapes
While I don't recommend photographing landscapes during the middle of the day, sometimes that's what you've got. So, take advantage of being in a gorgeous area like the California coast and click away!I met up with my friend and incredible photographer, Jennifer of Jennifer Carr Photography, in the Monterey area for some exploration, photography, food, and a little goofing off. We were disappointed to learn that many of the trails were not open and impassable because of the heavy rain last winter. The trails had not yet been repaired so we were denied entrance to them. But, we were not discouraged or deterred. We continued to explore the central California coast.

Yes, the water really is that color! We even found a bit of still life as we walked around the area. Not conventional still life, 'found still life'.
