Flooded | Serenity {northern California photographer}

Welcome to our collaborative blog circle "Serenity". Each month we post images that convey a sense of serenity to each of us. The genre doesn't really matter. The images can be landscapes, still life, portraits, or wild life. Sometimes it is none of those, but simply a peaceful abstract fine art image that gives the viewer a feeling of calm. Landscape constitutes my Flooded Serenity post today.

For this month's blog post, I decided to focus on images of our water logged community in the early morning light. As many of you know, I often begin my morning with a drive in search of a scene that appeals to me, or interests me in some way. California has received much needed rain recently so the fields are flooded and the rivers are bulging.

I really love the golden light of sunrise and how it glistens on the water. It makes for a beautiful, peaceful way to begin my day.
