Getting a Local's Point of View from Around the World
Photography has brought me into contact with people from around the world, as well as locally. An on line friend from Chicago, who is now a met-in-real-life friend, has a website designed to bring people of many different cultures, backgrounds, and lifestyles together. The content also helps us get to know our neighbors near and far, their struggles, their successes, their food, their lives. So, I was incredibly honored to have my brief narrative about my hometown shared on her Culturally Ours website feature 'My Town and I' in getting a local's point of view from around the world.My hope is that you'll explore this website and enjoy some virtual travel to some of the many locations that have been highlighted on this site.I wish Karthika well with this endeavor.
