In mid October I met up with some photography friends to photograph in the state of Washington. Our second location to photograph was Lower Lewis Falls. (Our first was Cedar Creek Grist Mill.) I had seen photos of this landscape a few months prior. So I KNEW that it was a location I wanted to photograph. The only problem was, it was POURING down rain! But we decided to give it a try as it was just off our route to Leavenworth, our final destination.When we arrived, it continued to rain. After putting on our rain gear and covering our cameras/bags as best we could, we set out to photograph this lovely area. But sadly, the rain was just too much to contend with. Since it was time to be on our way, we sloshed back to the car enjoying the scenery. This is definitely a place I want to return to as our time at Lower Lewis Falls was too brief.I wish someone was in the image near the falls to give some scale as to just how huge it is.
