Maine Attractions | Bar Harbor

When Kate Bragg and Allison Jacobs announced they'd be having a still life workshop in Maine last summer, I knew I just had to go. I'd been to Maine once before, very briefly, and I loved it! As a result, I wanted to explore as many Maine attractions as I possibly could! Plus, I knew meeting and working with Kate and Allison would be just the best!I attended the workshop with several friends who joined together to explore more of Maine on our own time after the workshop was over. We stayed outside of Acadia National Park to be somewhat centrally located to all the areas we wanted to visit.

Somesville Bridge Maine attractions

Doesn't this remind you of a storybook image? I'm waiting for the little characters to begin crossing the bridge.

Windows are Maine attractions in Bar Harbor

There were so many window boxes everywhere full of beautiful, blooming flowers. Some of the buildings had fishing buoys hanging on the them.

There was plenty of fog while we were there. A little too much fog at times!

Maine attractions include Eagle Lake

Because there were plenty of clouds, I played with long exposure at Eagle Lake.

Burnside Lensbaby

I had the opportunity to participate in the Lensbaby Traveling Burnside Project during the time I spent in Maine. What a fun lens to add a little more pizazz to this deep red geranium!
