Landscapes and Still Life Found in Maine

While visiting and exploring Maine two years ago, I was treated to so many wonderful scenes. There was eye candy everywhere. We were treated to so many fantastic locations. I remember I couldn't wait to share with you some of the landscapes and still life found in Maine in July of 2018. This trip was made even more special because it included several photography friends who are just as obsessed as I am about exploring and photographing new-to-us areas.During the first evening there, we visited the Portland Head Lighthouse. Perched at the water's edge on the rocky coast, it stood classic and steadfast with it's red and white armor providing plenty of photography opportunities.

Our second evening in Maine took us to Bailey Island. Adhering to my self-promise to consume lobster everyday, I enjoyed a fresh lobster roll before we headed over to the wharf area. We roamed and explored the area just before sunset. There were landscape opportunities and plenty of still life found near the wharf and water's edge. Love the buoys hanging the the walls. After the sun had set on Bailey Island, we could see the lighthouse in the distance keeping watch. See all those dark spots on the water? Lobster traps live there.I cannot wait to make my way back to Maine.
