Taking some time to look through photos and discovered this post from my Waterfalls & More workshop/retreat from a couple of years ago. Let me tell you, it was fantastic! The colors were amazing! The water was flowing! And, we had a fantastic group of women attending the workshop in October. The Northern California mountains in autumn are a beautiful sight!

Let me tell you, it was fantastic! The colors were amazing! The water was flowing! And, we had a fantastic group women attending the one-day Waterfalls Workshop in October. But, shame on me for not blogging about it until now.
Waterfall Workshop in Northern California
Pairing my love of photography with my love of teaching, I decided to present a waterfall workshop in the mountains of Northern California. You will learn how to create images of your liking with just the right amount of movement in the water. Sharp splashes or smooth blur, whatever appeals to you.

There's something mesmerizing about waterfalls. They are loud. They rarely stop. Many are often surrounded by the beauty and seclusion of a forest. This is one of the waterfalls on the Coquille River, Oregon, east fork.

While exploring the gorgeous landscape of Washington, we made our way down the forest road to Iron Creek Falls. It was just a short walk to the creek and falls from the parking lot.
