Autumn Waterfalls Workshop | Shame on Me!!!

Taking some time to look through my blog posts (because I’m so far behind, I couldn’t remember what I’d blogged about!), I realized I never posted about the autumn Waterfalls Workshop!

Let me tell you, it was fantastic! The colors were amazing! The water was flowing! And, we had a fantastic group of women attending the one-day Waterfalls Workshop in October. But, shame on me for not blogging about it until now.

I will let the photographs speak for themselves. It was such a pleasure for me to watch the women assess the different scenes and work their cameras, achieving some amazing images.

Here are a few photos of the ladies enjoying the beautiful scenes.

Despite the drought, we saw plenty of water and beautiful fall color.

We met early in the morning before dawn and since it was threatening to rain, we had introductions and discussions in my hotel room before heading out to our first location. Fortunately, it never did rain, but we had the most beautiful ‘soft box’ cloud cover for awhile. The group photographed the classic view of the first waterfall, and then walked down the trail to find other angles and subjects along the way. We headed for our next locations, stopping for a delightful lunch and enjoyable conversation. Then, it was off to photograph to photograph more waterfalls, cascades, and gorgeous scenery.

I hope you’ll consider joining me on my next Waterfalls Workshop planned for October 2023. I’m considering expanding this to a three day workshop/retreat. For early notification, sign up for my almost-monthly newsletter here:
