Exploring Redwood National Park | fine art photography landscape
Late May and early June are the months in which the rhododendrons bloom in the Redwood National Park in northern California. So, a few years ago we planned accordingly and made our way there in early June.
Amazing Magical Morning
OK, so it wasn't exactly a magical morning. It was actually a perfectly average late autumn morning. But, as I often do, I went out walking with my camera. I live in a rural area and the route of my morning walks is pretty much the same each day with a little variation now and then. I walk along the rows of trees in our walnut orchard to the back of our property where there is a slough and lots of vegetation - trees, berry vines, poison oak, and weeds.
Changing Seasons in Ashland
A few years ago in my pursuit of fall colored leaves, I passed through Ashland, OR. Fortunately, I decided to stop and spend the night there. And, I'm so glad I did! The fall color change was in full swing in Ashland, and especially in Lithia Park.
My gardens still managed to show off this summer!
Last winter and spring, I prepared my vegetable and flower garden plots for the upcoming growing season. Nothing too big nor fancy, but just the right size to enjoy. With all plans I still just never know what the end result may look like. As well intentioned as I am about caring for my gardens, they sometimes end up being neglected.
