Bright Cheery Cutting Garden Zinnias
As summer has officially come to an end, and fall is here, there are a few blossoms that are still putting on a show. These cheery cutting garden zinnias seem to last long into autumn and I’m definitely not sad about that!
My last few posts have been pretty dark and moody. So I thought it would be nice to go in the opposite direction and show some gorgeous cutting garden zinnias. Using a white foundation from Medium boards and some natural linen pieces from Made on 23rd, these zinnias really pop in these still life images! Bright, soft window light and a few props keep the frame simple and uncluttered allowing your eyes to go right to those gorgeous zinnias. I'll be so glum when they are finished blooming. But you can bet they will be in my cutting flower garden again next year! These are some of the tall zinnias from seeds I purchased from Floret. Aren’t they gorgeous subjects for these still life images?
