My Story

 

Hi, there, and welcome!

I'm Nadeen, multi-genre photographer, living in rural northern California. Formerly an administrative assistant, elementary educator, and consumer of all things chocolate. I've left most of those roles behind for my current role of light seeker, aka landscape and still life photographer, and teacher. I LOVE helping others learn.

My photography and teaching are labors of love but I hope also some inspiration for you. I'm happy knowing some of my images are hanging on yours walls. But I'd also like to teach you how to make your own art. Come with me into the world of fine art photography and let's chase the light, find the inspiration, capture the moment, and create the story for the most amazing photos.

Finding Your Joy

Nothing brings me more pleasure than to help other women (and men) find their joy; that thing that puts a smile on their face, the bounce in their step, that reason to wake up at dark o’clock. Photography is joy for me, and maybe for you, too. Whether it is attending my still life workshop online, mentoring sessions with me, joining me for a landscape photography workshop/retreat or just about anything else photography related, I know you will come away with photos you love and inspiration to continue your photography journey.

Out & About Shooting

Near or far, there are so many locations to photograph, to take on as a part of oneself. Those locations become part of who I am, what I appreciate, and what I hope to help preserve. Building memories of places and the people with whom I’ve shared them will continue to be part of me. I hope that you can and will enjoy the same uplifting experiences.
