Blur and Bokeh {northern California photographer}

Blur and bokeh seem to add just a little bit of something to an image.  Do they make it more artistic?  Do they engage the viewer longer?  I don't really know.  But I do find for me that just the right amount of either make for an interesting element in a photograph.

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under the trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.”– John Lubbock
