Fishing Boats Northern California
With the salty smell of the coast, the sounds of the squawking gulls, and the beautiful fading light, we enjoyed a serene time exploring the docks full of fishing boats.

I love this time of year in northern California for many reasons. But one big reason is because the farmers' markets are stuffed full of all the fresh, yummy produce you can imagine!

Toward the top of the rolling hills near the coast, my friend and I discovered yet another cemetery that had been part of the community for a very long time. While the sun was shining maybe a bit too strongly and the breeze was blowing just perfectly, I felt such peace in this lovely location. The headstones in the cemetery were modest although there was plenty of evidence of love and remembrance. Many of the headstones were handmade/carved; some were painted, some were not. I don't usually convert my images, but this set seemed to tell the story best in black and white.
