Daily Shooting November 2020

Daily shooting in November 2020 has come to an end with one month to go to complete this 366 project. All in all, it's been fairly easy, but I don't plan to do another one in 2021. Has each day held an incredible photo opportunity? Absolutely not. There are some that I would never publish except that they are part of this project. Have I gotten images that I might not have otherwise? Absolutely, yes.

Daily Photography

When I first picked up a camera several years ago, I shot daily in order to learn as much as I could. After a few years, I gave up the formal 365 project. Over time, I realized I was picking up my camera less and less for my own enjoyment. When business sessions seemed to take over, there was less time for my personal shooting. It felt good last January to pick up the practice of photographing everyday just-for-me once again.

Shooting at Home

Then Covid-19 struck and sheltering at home became a reality which meant that my travel plans for the rest of the year came to a halt. Cancelled. As a nature/landscape photographer, I was very disappointed. At first I thought I'd just let the project go because how would I ever be able to find things here at home every single day? But, new opportunities presented themselves in the form of learning new things. Fun and engaging things. So the project continues. And, gratefully, I have found safe ways to venture out a bit and shoot safely farther away from home.

Multiple Genres

Daily shooting in November included birds, flowers, landscape, macro, a little work with the Lensbaby Sweet 35 lens, and lots more trees! Here is what November 2020 looked like for me each day while I photographed in my backyard, in the studio, as well as farther away from home.
