Exploring Mount Rainier National Park

In August I took a road trip to the State of Washington, solo, in order to attend a workshop given by Nate Lubbe and Autumn Schrock at Mount Rainier National Park. I planned several stops along the way, a visit to the North Cascades National Park, and a visit with my cousin in Cour d'Alene, ID. It was a long, but very rewarding trip. I had a good supply of disinfectant wipes, a bundle of face masks, and an ice chest full of food. I took every precaution to make sure it resulted in a safe trip. And, I'm happy to say that the workshop leaders did too.

Before and During the Workshop

Once I arrived at the park, I took a drive through before the workshop began and stopped to capture some of the unique scenes found there. Being a photographers' paradise with waterfalls, glaciers, deep valleys, and high peaks, Mount Rainier National Park is the perfect place for a photography workshop. To see more images from this trip, go to:Milky Way Moonset Magic and Waterfalls and Milky Way in Northern California.
