Exploring Redwood National Park | fine art photography landscape

Late May and early June are the months in which the rhododendrons bloom in the Redwood National Park in northern California. So, a few years ago we planned accordingly and made our way there in early June. However, in that particular year, the blossoms were not as abundant as in years’ past. Still the park was as majestic as ever. The towering trees continue to amaze me each time I visit there, while the forest floor is covered with ferns.

We live in a beautiful world, my friends. So, get out there and explore it!

“When you get up into the crown of a redwood tree, you lose sight of the ground entirely. You also lose sight of the sky. And you're in a lost world. You're in an undiscovered, unexplored ecosystem, somewhere between Heaven and Earth, filled with forms of life, not all of which have been given names by scientists yet.”

~  Richard Preston
