Critters in My Garden | northern California photographer

Our gardens are growing like crazy! Yay!  We have lots of critters enjoying the fruits and flowers of our labor. But, today, I'm focusing on the flower garden. Bees, birds, and a variety of insects seem to be enjoying the garden. We have put humming bird feeders up along with bird seed feeders. We even have a birdbath although I've yet to see any birds in it. Cannot wait for that! Each morning when I'm out tending to the watering, weeding, and harvesting, there is an abundance of activity. Observing nature while tending the garden is such a great way to start the day. Morning is a busy time for the critters in my garden.

The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun, heart with nature. To nurture a garden is to feed not just the body, but the soul.

~ Alfred Austin
