Project 365, 2022, Week 20
Week 20 of Project 365, 2022 included so many opportunities in multiple genres of photography. Most were right in my yard. I’ve dusted off my macro lens and worked intentionally with certain concepts in macro. Of course, flowers come to mind first. The intricacies of the flower blossoms just come to life with a macro lens. I’ve been taking a class on macro from Jenny W. It’s been a good refresher for me and I always enjoy seeing others’ work.
In the first block below, I photographed an agapanthus bloom about to burst. I might not have taken that photo if it hadn’t been for Jenny’s class. The hayfield across the road is now bound in round bales. And, isn’t springtime the perfect time for a glass of wine on the patio in the evening?
Different Views from the Farm
Again, I photographed a few thing in the garden with my macro and caught a little phoebe surveying the yard for some bugs to catch and eat.

I found this turkey feather during one of my morning walks around our property. I gathered several, actually. We see them from time-to-time in the orchard or near the slough. Fortunately, they do not come up near our home.
