Project 365, 2022, Weeks 30, 31, and 32

Somehow these postings seem to get away from me and I get so far behind. So, again, I’m clustering a few together in order to get caught up since I’m about 3 months behind in sharing.

Much like other weeks of Project 365, 2022, Week 30 was full of birds and flowers, flowers and birds. Often when I remain close to home, the resulting images are of similar subject matter. Although this week that was true, I did travel a bit for the owl image and achieved it with the help of a guide. I loved that I was able to photograph two in one image! Owls are difficult for me to find on my own in the first place, so this was a bonus.

Week 30

owls, quail, flowers, sunrise

My dear photography friend, Jennifer Carr, invited me to shoot at Mount Rainier National Park with her last summer. We were after all things ‘nature’, but we especially wanted to photograph wildflowers, which we did. Somehow, none of those wildflower images made it into my favorites of the day for my 365 project. There is never a shortage of subject matter in a national park!

Week 31

As you can guess from the flowers and birds photos for this week, I was back home. All went well except for the neighbors’ chicken who did NOT want anything to do with me and kept running away. Hence, chicken butt. The zinnias somehow keep their charm even when they are beginning to fade. I really love that.
